Single, double or custom
A single garage for one car and seasonal storage, a double garage with a workshop, a custom building for an RV, a boat or machinery: we size the structure and doors for real use. In the rural parts of Portneuf and Jacques-Cartier, garages often double as heated workshops — hence the importance of insulation, ventilation and an adequate electrical feed.
Slab and foundation
Monolithic concrete slab with frost-protected footing, or a foundation below the frost line depending on building size, soil and municipal requirements. We prepare the ground, drainage and access.
Structure, insulation and finishing
Wood framing, roof trusses engineered for the region's snow loads, siding matched to the house, insulated garage doors with openers, windows and service doors. Insulation and vapour barrier for a heated garage, ventilation for a workshop.
Electrical and EV charger
Sub-panel fed from the house, 120/240 V outlets for tools and a compressor, LED lighting, heating and an EV charging station: all planned and installed by our electricians during construction.

What clients ask us
Do I need a permit for a garage?
Yes, in almost every municipality. Height, area and setback rules vary; we prepare the application.
Slab or full foundation?
For a typical garage, a monolithic slab with frost-protected footing is often enough; large buildings or difficult soils need a foundation below the frost line.
Can I have an EV charger in the garage?
Yes. We size the garage feed for it from the start, which costs far less than adding it later.
How long does a garage take?
Two to four weeks on site after the permit for a standard detached garage, depending on finish and season.
